Drawing from the historic Carthusian monastery, the design preserves its spirit by creating a place that is both welcoming to the Südstadt and quietly cloister-like inside. The project mediates between dense urban blocks and the monastery’s orthogonal order, using clear forms, framed views, and consistent materials to establish a timeless and calm architectural presence.
